What Personal Information and data do we collect?

During your use of the Service, we may collect, store and use the following kinds of Personal Information and data:

information about any products that you request information about or quotations for;
your name and contact details, such as phone numbers, addresses and email addresses. We will collect this information when you input it into the Service, for example when you create a profile or request information or a quotation;
information about a person who is the intended user of any product you request information about or a quotation for. This information may include the intended user’s name and contact details, and details about the intended user’s height, weight, age, medical conditions or disabilities, and other health needs. We will collect this information when it is inputted into the Service by a person seeking information about or a quotation for particular products;

Health Information

The Service is designed to enable users to input information about particular individuals and their health or disability status, to enable us and our agents, affiliates, resellers and distributors to configure or customise products to meet the specific requirements of those individuals. A user will input specific information that relates to an individual, and will then select a distributor or reseller to provide a quotation or product information. The information we receive about the relevant individual may contain identifying details about that individual, but all such identifying information will be encrypted and held in a secure environment. Upon receipt, we will send that information to the selected distributor or reseller to provide a quotation or product information. The information we send will be anonymised (i.e. with the individual’s name and contact details removed), unless the user has elected for us to send that information in a non-anonymised form.

The Service also enables users to create client profiles. A client profile will contain Personal Information about a particular individual, including name and contact details as well as health information. All client Personal Information collected by us will be held in a secure environment.

We will comply with all applicable health and data security laws in our collection and holding of any health information, including the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (US) (HIPAA).

Distributor or reseller privacy and data practices

While we take reasonable steps to ensure that our distributors and resellers only use the information provided to them via the Service for the purposes of providing product information or quotations, we are not responsible for the privacy or data practices of our distributors or resellers. If you decide to order products from a particular distributor or reseller, you should check that they have appropriate privacy and data practices in place, and that your Personal Information and other valuable data will be treated with appropriate care.

We keep this privacy policy under regular review. We will place any updates to this privacy policy on the Service site. Any such updates will be effective immediately, unless we state otherwise.
